The Neons are considered to be the first white doo wop group with a hit record, Angel Face, there's an article in the New York Times called the durability of Doo Wop, explaining how Raul Cita the creator of the Harptones arranged and tightened the Neons' music production. Here's a fun fact, the label owner made a deal with Ponds to create Angel Face Cream. The group used to sing and give advice to the Mystics before they got big themselves. The small label shut down after a year causing all their songs to nosedive off the charts, sad.

This is cleaner than the stone reissue! The stone reissue came from a second copy with both speeds on it 7.5 and 15IPS. Terry paid 75 dollars for the rights!

My mom has this 45 from when she was a teen in the 60s. When I went looking for a copy online, they all were missing the combo organ riff. Why would anyone remove the riff? It makes for a great hook!
